Job summary

POWERX is hiring a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection. You will set up test equipment, conduct testing, and support reporting with limited supervision.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, OSHA 30-hour and NETA certification is preferred, with a High school diploma or GED and an Associate’s degree preferred. Travel up to 50% and a safety-focused, customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate’s degree (2-year) preferred.
• NETA certification level 2 preferred.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test equipment setup and removal for various testing activities.
• Write detailed test reports and ensure timely submission.
• Perform basic electrical measurements and accurately record data.
