Job summary

PowerX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 4) to supervise projects, perform complex electrical tests, and coordinate testing activities with engineers and managers. The role involves de-energized testing, data collection, and detailed reporting while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and a solid understanding of electrical theory. Travel up to 50% and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s in a technical field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in field service or related electrical environments.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.
• Power DB training a plus; strong safety culture and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic report writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical tests and measurements.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
• Monitor progress and supervise NETA field technicians assigned to projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and recommend corrective actions.
• Write and review detailed reports on test results and findings.
• Ensure safety procedures and documentation are followed throughout.
