Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to service equipment, perform startup, repair and preventive maintenance at customer sites across the region. This site-based role includes occasional nonstandard hours and a 40-hour guarantee with overtime, plus travel to customer sites as needed.

You will receive comprehensive product training, hands-on instruction with company tools, service vehicles, uniforms, and laptops.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in electrical disciplines or related field.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics and electrical systems.
• Strong safety practices and adherence to safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Solve problems with customers, electricians, sales partners, and technical support.
• Complete field service and expense reports and data sheets.
• Collaborate with managers on escalated issues.
• Engage in ongoing training on products in field and classroom.
