Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Field Service Representative to install, startup, diagnose, repair and maintain equipment at customer sites across the region. You’ll work with customers, electricians, and partners to resolve issues and complete service reports.

This site-based role includes a 40-hour guarantee plus overtime, with extensive training in Dallas, TX and ongoing online learning. You’ll need electrical trade background, blueprints reading, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certification in electrical-related disciplines.
• Able to read blueprints/schematics and understand AC/DC power concepts.
• 2+ years of field service repair and customer service experience with UPS or power systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and digital tools; safety procedures followed.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Diagnose issues with customers, electricians, and support teams; document service reports.
• Complete expense reports and data sheets; escalate to management when needed.
• Travel regionally for local or countrywide support and assist senior technicians.
