Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks Field Service Representatives to service power distribution and critical power infrastructure, performing startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications at customer sites. The role includes travel within the region and occasional countrywide assignments.

Within 180 days, you will complete eight weeks of in-person training at a new Dallas, TX facility, followed by online training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certification or military training in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 5–7+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications.
• Troubleshoot with customers, electricians, and partners.
• Complete field service and expense reports; document data sheets.
• Collaborate with managers to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing product and process training in the field and classroom.
