ABB is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to work on-site with customers, performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades. You will troubleshoot issues, coach technicians, and help identify opportunities for operational improvements, all while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and MS Office proficiency, with work authorization to operate in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years servicing critical power equipment.
• Associates degree with 8+ years experience servicing critical power equipment.
• High School diploma with 10+ years experience servicing critical power equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; proficiency in MS Office; project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on-site with customers to identify improvement opportunities.
• Perform field service tasks and on-site troubleshooting.
• Execute installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and replacements.
• Coach technicians and supervise complex site activities.
• Prepare material lists and ensure quality and availability of parts.
• Identify equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
