Job summary

Zund America Inc. in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, the US HQ of Zund Systemtechnik AG, seeks a Field Service Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Zünd digital cutting systems across North America.

Qualifications

• Technical school education and/or one year of field service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Zünd digital cutting systems at customer sites.
• Provide timely telephone and remote technical support.
• Complete service reports, warranty docs, expense reports, and related tasks accurately.
• Document service activity and machine data in Salesforce CRM.
• Escalate complex issues to internal support and ensure resolution.
• Learn and become proficient in Zünd software and systems; train customers on-site and remotely.
• Support trade shows, open houses, and demonstrations, including occasional weekend travel.
