Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service is seeking an experienced field service technician to ensure exceptional customer relations and prompt, reliable service for Taylor Machine Works equipment in the Fort Worth area. You will assist with delivery, training, and maintenance to uphold warranty and performance standards.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and report time and costs accurately while supporting ongoing skill development and contributing to a positive company image.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
• DOT certification is required or attainable.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Service Supervisor to plan effective work and travel schedule.
• Diagnose malfunctions; repair or replace worn parts; install new assemblies.
• Provide tools, parts, and arrange facilities to perform repair work.
• Inspect, operate, and test machines on delivery and during maintenance.
• Complete work orders and job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Train new servicemen or supervise a team on large repair jobs.
