Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide prompt, on-site service for Taylor equipment, diagnose and repair diesel and hydraulic systems, and train junior staff as needed. You will travel to customer sites, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely reporting of work performed.

Qualifications include three years' diesel/hydraulic experience and a valid DOT certification. A clean driving record and willingness to stay overnight may be required.

• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective work and travel schedule with the Service Supervisor.
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair or replace worn parts; install new assemblies and calibrate equipment.
• Provide on-site service at customer locations and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Complete work orders and job-related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Uphold company image with neat appearance and truck condition.
• Mentor junior technicians and supervise teams on large repair jobs.
