Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service, Inc. in West Memphis, AR seeks a service technician to maintain strong customer relations and deliver prompt on-site service for Taylor Machine Works equipment. You will inspect, train operators, perform maintenance, and ensure accurate billing.

Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, repairing or replacing parts, arranging facilities, and reporting time and parts usage. DOT-certified technicians with hydraulic/diesel experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Stooping, bending, climbing, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; vehicle ownership and insurance requirements.
• DOT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Service Supervisor to plan work and travel, prioritizing customer needs.
• Diagnose malfunctions, repair/replace parts, and ensure machines operate properly.
• Provide tools/parts and arrange for on-site repair work at customer sites.
• Inspect and test machines on delivery, during maintenance, and after repairs.
• Report customer and job details for accurate billing.
• Pursue technical skill growth via training and company programs.
• Maintain professional appearance and vehicle condition.
• Mentor junior technicians and assist with complex repairs.
• Complete all work orders and paperwork promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
