Job summary

Sudden Service, INC in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Field Service Technician to service Taylor equipment at customer sites, perform inspections, and train operators on machine operation and maintenance requirements.

You will diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace worn parts, provide on-site service, and ensure accurate reporting of time and materials; travel and overnight stays may be required; valid CDL/DOT criteria apply.

Qualifications

• Three years of on-the-job experience in diesel mechanics and hydraulics.
• Must be at least 21 years old for DOT certification.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective work and travel schedule with Service Supervisor.
• Diagnose malfunctions; repair or replace worn parts.
• Provide tools and arrange facilities to perform repair work at customer sites.
• Inspect, operate, and test machines after delivery and repairs.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork promptly.
• Train new servicemen as needed.
