Job summary

The Taylor Sudden Service, a subsidiary of The Taylor Group of Companies, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician in Pasadena, TX to provide prompt, efficient service on Taylor equipment, perform inspections, and carry out repairs or replacements. You will coordinate with the Service Supervisor to plan work, diagnose malfunctions, supply tools and parts, and ensure proper billing and reporting.

The role may require overnight stays and driving a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• DOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan effective work and travel with the Service Supervisor.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements.
• Provide tools and arrange facilities for repair work.
• Inspect and test equipment on delivery and after repairs.
• Record time, parts, travel, and billing information.
• Promote company image through professional conduct and appearance.
• Train or supervise junior technicians on large repairs.
• Complete work orders and paperwork in a timely manner.
