Sudden Service Inc. is seeking a field service technician to service, diagnose, and repair Taylor equipment at customer sites. You will inspect machines on delivery, perform maintenance, and train operators on operation and safety.

The role requires travel to customer locations and occasional overnight stays, with a strong emphasis on customer relations and prompt service. The candidate should have hydraulics and diesel repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and a DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• DOT certification required (21+).
• Experience in hydraulics and diesel engine repair is preferred.
• Occasional overnight travel to out-of-town locations may be required.

Responsabilités

• Consult with Service Supervisor to plan effective work and travel schedule, prioritizing customer needs.
• Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace worn/defective parts, and keep machines in operating condition.
• Provide tools and parts and arrange facilities to perform repair work, usually at customer premises.
• Inspect, operate, and test machines on delivery, intervals, and after repairs to ensure proper function.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork accurately and timely.
