Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service is seeking a Service Technician (FSM) to maintain excellent customer relations by delivering prompt service for Taylor Machine Works customers. Duties include on-site inspections, repairs, and operator training as needed.

Requires three years of diesel hydraulics experience, a valid DOT license, and willingness to travel or stay overnight as required. Benefits and a 401K plan are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers.
• Basic computer skills for service reporting and invoicing.
• DOT certification and a valid driver's license required.
• 3+ years in diesel mechanics and hydraulics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Service Supervisor to plan work and travel.
• Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace parts and assemblies.
• Inspect, operate, and test machines after service delivery.
• Provide tools and arrange facilities for on-site repairs.
• Complete work orders and service paperwork promptly.
