Job summary

The Service Technician I at Stallion Infrastructure Services performs setup, installation, and repair of electronic communication and surveillance systems for remote and field sites. This role provides field support for communications and networked surveillance equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with VMS and IP-based cameras.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal remote guidance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and repair communication systems, including mobile cellular, wireless, and satellite equipment.
• Support maintenance and repair of surveillance systems including IP cameras and NVRs.
• Configure and troubleshoot network, telephony, and satellite terminal‑related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and system checks; complete field retrofits and upgrades.
• Communicate job progress and issues to customers, project managers, and management.
• Crosstrain and collaborate with additional field operations as required.
