Job summary

Stallion Infrastructure Services seeks a Service Technician I to install, configure, and repair electronic communication and surveillance systems at remote and field-based sites. You will provide hands-on support for telecom and IP-based surveillance equipment, with a customer-first approach.

Responsibilities include installing systems, maintaining IP cameras and NVRs, configuring networks and telephony, and performing routine checks. Travel and lifting up to 60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Background in basic networking concepts and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with VMS and IP-based cameras.
• Ability to work independently with minimal remote guidance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and travel as needed.
• Preferred: training from a two-year vocational or technical program or equivalent field experience.
• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in surveillance, communications, or related low-voltage installation work.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and repair communication systems including mobile cellular, wireless, and satellite equipment.
• Support maintenance and repair of surveillance systems including IP cameras, NVRs, and powered components.
• Configure and troubleshoot network, telephony, and satellite terminal-related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and system checks; complete field retrofits and upgrades.
• Communicate job progress and issues to customers, project managers, and management.
• Crosstrain and collaborate with additional field operations as required.
