Job summary

Stallion Infrastructure Services is seeking a Service Technician I to perform setup, installation, and repair of electronic communication and surveillance systems for remote field sites. The role requires hands-on technical ability, strong troubleshooting, and a customer-first attitude.

Responsibilities include configuring networks, IP cameras, and satellite equipment, performing routine maintenance, and communicating progress to clients and managers. Travel is required with most nights at home.

Qualifications

Completion of a two-year vocational/technical program or equivalent field training.
1–2 years of experience in surveillance, communications, or related low-voltage installation work.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and travel as needed.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service orientation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and repair communication systems including cellular, wireless, and satellite equipment.
Support maintenance and repair of surveillance systems such as IP cameras and NVRs.
Configure and troubleshoot network, telephony, and satellite terminal systems.
Perform routine maintenance and field retrofits and upgrades.
Communicate progress and issues to customers, project managers, and management.
Cross-train and collaborate with additional field operations as required.
