Job summary

Stallion Infrastructure Services is seeking a Service Technician I to install, configure, and repair electronic communication and surveillance systems at remote sites. You will support mobile cellular, wireless, satellite equipment, and IP cameras, working with customers and project managers.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, strong troubleshooting, and frequent travel; a two-year vocational/technical program or related field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with Video Management Systems (VMS) and IP-based cameras.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and repair communication systems including cellular, wireless, and satellite equipment.
• Support maintenance and repair of surveillance systems (IP cameras, NVRs, powered components).
• Configure and troubleshoot network, telephony, and satellite terminal systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and field retrofits or upgrades.
• Communicate progress and issues to customers and project managers.
• Crosstrain and collaborate with field operations as required.
