Job summary

ICEE is seeking a Service Technician in the New York Bay Shore area to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen and non-carbonated beverage dispensers, ice makers, and related equipment. You will operate with minimal supervision, attend weekly service-center meetings, and receive a company vehicle, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a strong mechanical background, and the ability to drive more than 40% of the time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver's License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls and provides prompt response.
• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs as needed.
• Maintains inventory and maintenance on equipment and company vehicle.
• Documents work performed and closes out activities.
• Communicates clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Performs general warehouse duties including sorting, stocking, shipping and receiving.
