Job summary

The ICEE Company is seeking Service Technicians to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen and non-carbonated dispensers, fountains, ice makers, and more. You will operate with minimal supervision and participate in weekly service-center meetings, with a company vehicle, uniforms, tools, a cell phone, a tablet, and a gas card provided.

Position includes ICEE Academy training in equipment, service, and repair and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more regularly; occasional 70 lbs.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls and responds promptly.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs; checks syrup levels and cleanliness.
• Maintains inventory and company vehicle upkeep.
• Reviews service orders and communicates with supervisor about customer needs.
• Documents work and closes out activities.
• Communicates clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Performs general warehouse duties (receiving, shipping, organizing).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
