Job summary

ICEE is seeking a Service Technician in New York to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including frozen and non‑carbonated dispensers, ice makers, and beverage devices. You will work with minimal supervision and attend weekly Service Center meetings, while receiving a vehicle, tools, uniform, cell phone, tablet, and gas card.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, inventory management, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain ICEE and restaurant equipment including dispensers and ice makers.
• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly with ETA.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs; check syrup levels and cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle/tools; document work completed.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers; close out service orders.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
