Job summary

ICEE is seeking a Service Technician to service ice machines, beverage dispensers and related equipment with minimal supervision. You will receive a company vehicle, uniforms, tools, a cell phone, a tablet and a gas card to support service calls.

Responsibilities include responding to dispatched calls, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs while keeping supervisors informed of customer needs and up-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more on a regular basis; occasional heavier lifting.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly based on ETA.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle/tools in good condition.
• Report customer concerns and upsell opportunities to supervisor.
• Document work performed and close out service orders.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
