Job summary

The ICEE Company in Fargo, ND is seeking a Service Technician to service all ICEE equipment, from frozen beverage dispensers to ice makers and related systems. You will work with minimal supervision, attend weekly meetings, and use a company vehicle, uniform, tools, cell phone, tablet, and gas card.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, monitoring syrups and cleanliness, maintaining equipment inventory, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid REAL ID Driver’s License.
• Willing and able to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must have and wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatched service calls promptly and maintain ETA.
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Check syrup levels, replace flavors, and clean machines.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle; manage parts and tools.
• Document work and close out service orders; communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Attend weekly Service Center meetings and participate in trainings.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed (cleaning, organizing, shipping/receiving).
