Job summary

Bell and Howell is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to diagnose and repair a range of industrial, robotic and printing equipment. You will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, install systems, and provide remote and on-site support to minimize downtime.

Requirements include a strong electronics/mechanics background, 1+ years of field experience, and proficient use of DMM and test equipment. Occasional travel within US/Canada is possible.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training.
• 1+ years related industry/equipment experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment including printing/packaging systems and robotics.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Manage parts inventory and service calls to minimize downtime.
• Maintain strong customer communications and relationships; liaise with other departments.
