Job summary

Bell and Howell is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to diagnose and repair industrial, robotic, and printing equipment. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with tools such as a Digital Multimeter (DMM) and oscilloscopes, and offers on-site field support across North America.

Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, customer liaison, and rapid response for emergencies.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training and 1+ years related industry experience.
Strong electronics and mechanical background with knowledge of computer programs and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial equipment including printing/packaging and robotics.
Schedule and perform regular predictive/preventive maintenance inspections.
Manage parts inventory and service calls; support customers and maintain communication.
Foster strong customer relations and drive high satisfaction.
Respond to on-call emergencies and ensure rapid response within target times.
