Job Description

Support customers with Amada Automation Systems, including core machines. Responsibilities include installation, service, operational training, networking, programming training, software training, and application training. Territory covers Milwaukee, WI, and surrounding states.

Essential Functions

1. Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks.
2. Follow layout drawings and blueprints accurately for equipment installation.
3. Complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
4. Communicate effectively in English.
5. Maintain excellent customer relations and follow-up.
6. Manage the entire equipment installation process at customer sites, including use of hand tools, climbing, bending, and stooping.
7. Provide operation, application, software, and part programming training to customers.
8. Utilize Amada applications software for line control and part programming.
9. Travel regularly within assigned territories.
10. Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Non-Essential Functions

• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.

• Reports to Regional Service Manager.

• None.

Knowledge and Skills

• Degree in Electronics (4-year preferred) or 2-year degree with relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope.
• Basic computer skills and Windows OS knowledge.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Responsible and accountable for customer service and support throughout machine ownership.

Travel

• Routine travel within territories, with occasional overnight stays.
• Territory includes Milwaukee, WI, and surrounding states.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay rate: $27.00 - $30.00/hr
