Responsibilities

1. Telecommunications and network installations; planning, monitoring, and testing cable installations, including fiber and network backbone implementation; development of testing and diagnostic software; and troubleshooting procedures.
2. Manage task completion within estimated timeframes and budgets. Schedule and assign duties to team members, and enforce work standards.
3. Coordinate with clients and the Program Manager to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Serve as task lead as required.
5. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond standard manuals, such as circuitry analysis, electromagnetic evaluation, and system diagnostics.
6. Perform circuit analysis, waveform calculations, and signal flow tracing using complex test instruments.
7. Supervise and guide lower-level technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and certification in fiber and data cabling from an accredited college, with at least 8 years of experience as a communications/network technician.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred

• Active Secret clearance.
