Job description

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the development and implementation of installation and maintenance services at customer sites.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. Installing and commissioning battery monitoring systems and chargers.
2. Adding, removing, and replacing VLA (Flooded), VRLA, and NiCd batteries.
3. Performing modifications on equipment and circuits.
4. Preparing various Method of Procedure documents.
5. Resolving job specification and drawing issues independently.
6. Conducting quality inspections.
7. Demonstrating proper use of tools and test equipment.
8. Organizing trucks with necessary equipment for site work.
9. Maintaining safety standards and knowledge of HAZMAT and DOT regulations.
10. Continuing training to advance technical skills.
11. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 2 years of industry experience.
• Preferred: 2-year electrical degree or equivalent.
• Technical background is a plus.
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license, pass background and drug tests.
