Base pay range

$38.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Position Details

Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Anywhere in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Dakotas, Illinois, Indiana, or West-Michigan
Salary: $38-$48/hr + 2x on weekends + per diem + paid travel + annual profit sharing bonus
Requirements: 70% travel within a 4-5 hour drive range

We are a leading international company providing integrated packaging and processing solutions, working with clients across food processing, packaging, and industrial sectors, with over 50 subsidiaries in more than 100 countries.

We are seeking a knowledgeable electro-mechanical Field Service Technician to assist with installations, equipment breakdowns, and preventative maintenance. Cross-training opportunities are available to develop new skills, even for experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, and repair large packaging and processing machinery using technical drawings and electromechanical expertise.
• Provide excellent customer service and remain composed in high-stress situations.

Qualifications

• AAS/Bachelors in Electrical, Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or similar; strong equivalent experience also accepted.
• Experience troubleshooting large-scale machinery mechanically, electrically, and with robotic systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills; pneumatic and shop skills required.
• Experience in food processing and/or packaging preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Servo Motors, 480v electrical circuitry.
