Job summary

Starrett Metrology Systems Division is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair advanced precision measurement systems at customer sites across the New England region and other travel-enabled territories.

You'll work with vision, optical, force measurement, and other metrology technologies, delivering on-site and remote technical support and customer training while upholding safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• In this customer-facing role, you will install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair advanced precision measurement systems at customer facilities.
• You will interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service manuals to diagnose issues.
• You will travel frequently to customer sites and provide on-site and remote technical support and training.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, calibrate, and validate precision measurement equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and application-related problems.
• Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers.
• Train customers on equipment operation and software functionality.
