Job summary

Andersen Corporation in the United States seeks a Field Technician I to directly deliver and execute enterprise service solutions for customers, including dismantling, repairing, and replacing windows and doors in the home. You will work independently or with a team, travel regularly, and ensure warranty compliance while maintaining a professional on-site presence and documenting work accurately.

This role requires strong customer focus, safety awareness, and the ability to lift heavy materials

Qualifications

• High school diploma and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 2 or more years window installation experience (preferably Andersen products).
• Customer Orientation and strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in customers' homes/jobsites ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Knowledge of products, service procedures, and construction methods.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications such as WebWindowCare.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery of advanced service solutions for customers, including dismantling/replacing windows and doors in customer settings.
• Performs repairs and installs replacement parts on the jobsite, independently or as part of a team.
• Authorizes field decisions on repairs/replacements and communicates warranty information.
• Maintains professional on-site image and completes documentation accurately (expenses, hours, job assessments).
• Monitors product performance and reports findings to service support personnel.
• Travel regularly to perform field work and support service organization.
