Job summary

Andersen Corporation seeks a Service Technician to repair and maintain Renewal by Andersen products in the field. A company vehicle is provided and a motor vehicle record check is required.

You will analyze customer issues, implement fixes, and communicate with the team while maintaining the vehicle and inventory. Strong customer service and basic construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years window installation experience preferred.
• Basic construction knowledge and materials terminology.
• Ability to handle confrontations with tact and diplomacy.
• Basic math, legible writing, and PC skills (Word, Excel).
• Strong problem solving and decision making in service scenarios.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.
• Analyze customer situations, determine corrective action, and verify fixes.
• Keep team informed of customer interactions and actions taken.
• Provide accurate part descriptions and part numbers to Service RSR.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Understand installation techniques and correct installation errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
