Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to directly deliver advanced service solutions, dismantling and replacing windows and doors in customer settings. You will perform repairs, authorize field decisions, and maintain professional conduct on-site.

Role involves travel, documentation, warranty enforcement, and collaboration with service teams to improve products and procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years of window installation experience, preferably Andersen products.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in customers' homes safely and maintain a clean worksite.
• Knowledge of product line, service procedures and construction methods.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery of advanced service solutions; dismantle/replace windows and doors in customers' settings.
• Perform repairs and install replacement parts on-site.
• Authorize and document field decisions on repairs.
• Present a professional image and ensure timely service.
• Enforce warranty policy information.
• Complete documentation and electronic paperwork.
• Monitor product performance and communicate issues.
• Travel to job sites domestically.
• Train others and contribute to new service procedures.
