Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Rochester, NY to service printers, copiers, and related office technology at customer locations. You will diagnose issues, perform installations and upgrades, and manage parts and tools while providing excellent customer support.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years in technical repair or related fields, with strong electro-mechanical aptitude and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships may be considered in lieu of the required experience.
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.
