Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup and commissioning of cooling systems for hyperscale data centers across the United States. This hands-on role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing startup checks, and coordinating with senior technicians during complex activations.

The position requires travel up to 100%, with costs covered by the company, and a pay range of $37–$50 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience working with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience working with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required for local travel when applicable.
• Willing to fly to work regions.

Responsibilities

• Field Service Techs support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers.
• Perform troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision while supporting senior technicians.
• Assist with equipment startup and commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU.
• Identify system performance issues and document findings.
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose control issues.
• Coordinate with startup leads and field teams; maintain documentation and records.
