Job summary

F6 is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers across the United States. This hands-on role involves assisting with startup activities and field troubleshooting alongside senior technicians.

Travel up to 100% may be required; candidates should be prepared to fly. Pay is $40–$50 per hour with travel costs covered and per diem provided.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience working with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of cooling systems in data centers.
• Perform checks, tests, and documentation with minimal supervision while supporting senior technicians.
• Coordinate with startup leads and teams to ensure successful startup activities.
• Maintain organized documentation and equipment records and report findings.
• Communicate clearly with team using Microsoft Teams.
