Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of data center cooling systems across the United States. This hands-on role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues in hyperscale environments and providing detailed documentation.

Expect up to 100% travel, flight/hotel accommodations, and per diem. Pay is $40–$50 per hour, plus a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

3–7 years' experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
Valid driver's license required.
Reliable transportation for local travel when applicable.
Willing to fly to project regions.

Responsibilities

Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems.
Perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision while assisting senior technicians.
Assist with equipment startup and commissioning for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU.
Execute pre-functional equipment checks and functional tests.
Verify piping connections and equipment installation.
Maintain documentation and equipment records; coordinate via Teams.
