F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers across the United States.

The role is hands-on, requiring diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, reading schematics, and coordinating with senior technicians. Travel up to 100% is required, with per diem and travel costs covered by the company.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years' experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience working with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required for local travel when applicable.
• Willing to fly to work regions.

Responsabilités

• Field Service Technicians support the startup, commissioning support, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers.
• This is a hands-on technical role where technicians are expected to perform troubleshooting tasks with minimal supervision while supporting senior technicians during complex startup activities.
• Support startup and commissioning activities for cooling systems including CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU.
• Responsibilities include: pre-functional equipment checks, functional commissioning tests, verifying equipment installation and piping connections, identifying system performance issues.
• Diagnose and assist in resolving issues involving hydronic cooling systems, chilled water systems, glycol loops, air handling equipment, pumps and valves.
• Troubleshoot issues involving 120V and 480V electrical systems, VFD operation, sensors and instrumentation; read schematics as needed.
• Provide Field Operations support: safety meetings, coordination with startup leads, documentation, and MS Teams communication.
• Assist with startup checklists, equipment inspection reports, field troubleshooting notes, end-of-day reports, monthly expenses, and safety documentation (JHA/JSA/PTP).
• Advise on documentation and reporting; technicians may advance to higher levels.
