Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems in hyperscale data centers across the United States. This hands-on role requires strong HVAC and electrical troubleshooting skills, plus the ability to travel up to 100%.

You will work with startup leads and senior technicians, perform checks, document field activity, and ensure systems operate reliably.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years' experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel; willingness to fly.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of data center cooling systems.
• Perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision while mentoring junior technicians.
• Assist with startups for CRAH, IRHX, and DAHU equipment.
• Diagnose hydronic and glycol cooling systems and identify root causes.
• Read electrical schematics and assist with control diagnostics.
• Maintain documentation and support field operations, including safety reporting.
