Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our team supporting startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems for hyperscale data centers across the United States.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, traveling up to 100% for project assignments, and providing hands-on support with minimal supervision. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour with per diem and travel costs covered.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience with HVAC, mechanical systems or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with hydronic systems preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting of mission-critical cooling systems used in hyperscale data centers.
• Perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision while assisting senior technicians during complex activities.
• Assist with equipment startup, commissioning checks, and documentation.
• Maintain organized documentation and equipment records; complete startup checklists and inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with team members, primarily via Microsoft Teams.
