Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician I for Walmart in Pilesgrove, NJ to maintain and service fuel cells in customer sites, perform diagnostics, and implement field upgrades. The role involves travel, customer interaction, and strong problem-solving abilities.

The candidate should have a high school diploma with technical electrical coursework and 3+ years in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, plus a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Must possess a valid driver license, a clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate to maintain fleet at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and hardware/software upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide emergency support to customers as needed.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for service and support.
