Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician I, Lead for Walmart CVG1 in Monroe, OH. The role involves maintaining and servicing fuel cells in electric lift trucks, performing diagnostics, and implementing software/hardware upgrades with strong safety discipline.

Candidates should have a technical electrical background, 3+ years in related troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently at customer sites. Travel and reporting responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Must possess a valid driver license and safe driving record.
• Lift truck operation knowledge is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations to maintain fleet at a location.
• Field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
• Provide emergency support and report breakdown events.
• Purchase tools, equipment and parts for service as required.
• Communicate with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers; maintain documentation.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and travel as required.
