Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and service fuel cells at a customer location. The role includes diagnostics, field retrofits, and software/hardware upgrades, with on-call support and travel as needed.

Requires at least a high school diploma with technical electrical coursework and 3+ years in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, plus a valid driver's license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Min high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three+ years direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate fleet at a location.
• Install field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to fuel cells.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as needed.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for service.
• Travel as required for business needs and maintain safety procedures.
