Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Field Service Technician I for the Walmart location in Tobyhanna, PA. You will service fuel cells on-site, perform diagnostics, and carry out software/hardware upgrades while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed. Excellent communication with customers is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Formal training and education may be considered in lieu of direct experience.
• Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a location.
• Specialized service procedures including field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide emergency support to customers as required.
• Purchasing tools, equipment, and parts for service and support.
