Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) to join our Customer Service team in the Portland, ME metro area. You will travel to customer homes to service LG appliances, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure high-quality customer experiences.

You must be able to work across the greater Portland area, handle various tasks, and maintain safety and accuracy in documentation. The role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical experience; appliance repair preferred.
• Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration, cooking, cleaning products).
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product issues.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.
• Use PPE, vehicle, and diagnostic tools safely and effectively.
• Diagnose problems, assess scope, document findings, and repair or replace parts as needed.
• Process paperwork and data entry after each job.
• Pre-screen next-day service calls with required information.
• Meet or exceed company metrics for customer satisfaction and efficiency.
