Job summary

LG Electronics seeks a Field Service Technician (DMST) to join the Customer Service team in the Boston, MA metro area. You will travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and repair of LG equipment, ensuring top product performance.

Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide on repairs or replacements while adhering to safety guidelines and company metrics for customer satisfaction and service quality. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience in the use of tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance.
• Use of safety PPE and company-provided vehicle and diagnostic tools.
• Conducts technical diagnosis and performs repairs on electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide on repairs or part replacements.
• Process paperwork and data entry upon completion of each job.
