Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to provide expert repair and maintenance of vacuum technologies at a customer site in Albany, NY. You will inspect, service, troubleshoot, install, and document activities to maximize uptime and safety.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will visit sites, resolve issues, and act as the on-site touchpoint for customers, delivering practical recommendations while upholding Edwards safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, AS degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in a relevant technical field (electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Site Manager and perform planned and ad hoc site visits.
• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems to prevent downtime.
• Install equipment, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Serve as the on-site contact, delivering recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
