Job summary

Edwards, a global leader in vacuum and abatement systems, is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to service customer sites in San Jose, CA. You will conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair complex systems, aiming to minimize downtime and maximize performance.

The role requires a High School Diploma, AS degree preferred, and 1–3 years of relevant technical field experience with customer interaction.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of equivalent experience in relevant technical field such as electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum.
• AS degree preferred; full military equivalent may substitute.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems during planned and ad hoc visits.
• Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime and ensure performance.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
