Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions at customer sites in the San Jose, CA area. You will lead repairs, installations, and safety-compliant service visits to ensure peak performance and longevity of customers’ equipment.

The role requires 1-3 years of relevant technical experience, a High School Diploma (AS degree preferred), and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AS degree preferred or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in a technical field (electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum) with customer-facing experience preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to read technical drawings and use computer software to record data and write reports.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Site Manager.
• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair systems during planned and ad hoc visits; diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
