Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Field Service Representative in the United States to perform startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications on power distribution equipment. You’ll collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to diagnose issues and complete service reports.

Requires 2+ years in field service with UPS systems, ability to read schematics, and strong safety practices. Training is provided; travel and occasional nonstandard hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade/vocational cert or military training.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power concepts and components.
• 2+ years field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Solve problems with customers, electricians, and service teams.
• Complete field service and startup data sheets and reports.
• Work with management to resolve escalated issues.
• Ongoing training on products and field procedures.
